Businesses which require corporate debt help have been told that the government should support them in order to boost the British economy.

According to the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), the coalition chancellor George Osborne has laid out plans which will not only help to reduce the budget deficit, but will also aid business growth.

David Frost, director general of the BCC, stated that Mr Osborne, who was speaking at the Conservative Party's annual conference in Birmingham, understands the "need to maintain investment in crucial infrastructure projects".

He added: "It is critical that the burden of red tape is reduced and sufficient help is given to exporting companies."

Mr Frost called for help for corporate debt help customers to be aided by the government as part of a "year of growth" to boost the British economy.

The BCC recently called on the new leader of the Labour Party Ed Miliband to make it a priority to connect with firms such as those in need of corporate debt help.
