Portsmouth Football Club -v- HMRC
A victory of sorts, [they are doing marginal better in the courts than on the football pitch at the moment] but I doubt that the champagne is on ice just yet, Portsmouth FC convinced a judge to give them a further stay until after February 19th over HMRC petition to wind up the club. The midnight oil is gong to be burning down at Pompy.

Ethel Austin and its sister company Au Naturale goes into administration
The clothing store Ethel Austin announces job cuts with a total of 469 jobs are to go at clothing retailer Ethel Austin and its sister firm, Au Naturale, which both went into administration this week. The jobs will go in Knowsley, Merseyside, where the head office and distribution depot are located.
